Hayes, Sr., 76, of Chattanooga, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017.  He retired from Newton Chevrolet after 35 years of service.  He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Hayes and Clara Hayes; son, Bobby Hayes, Jr.; sister, Barbara Hayes Webb; and granddaughter, Cynese Hill.  He is survived by his children, Felecia (Gregory) Millsap, Ronnie (Arnita) Yates, Eric (Reatha) Hayes, Sharon Hayes McCoy, Pamela Hayes Hubbard, Jeff (Daphne) Dixie, and Delores Hayes; the mother of five of his children; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Clarence) Harris; brother-in-law, Gerald Webb, Sr.; special friend, Pearlie Green and family; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.  Visitation is on Tuesday, April 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, April 19, at noon in the chapel with Pastor J. Anthony Taylor as the eulogist. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.  ...

Koty" HustonJoseph Dakota "Koty" Huston, 21, of Amanda, passed away on Jan. 14, 2017.Koty was born on Feb. 2, 1995, in Fort Irwin, California.He was a 2013 graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School and attended Fairfield Career Center.He graduated from Army basic training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, on Nov. 7, 2013. After basic training, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, where he was honorably discharged on Dec. 14, 2016.Koty was an amazing young man. He never met a stranger, and he would give anyone the shirt off his back. He could light up the darkest of rooms with his jokes and goofiness. He adored his friends and family whole-heartedly. He will forever be missed.Koty is survived by his parents, Jr. and Holly Noble; brothers and sisters, Laci Noble, Samantha (Travis) Huston, Jacob (Macie) Noble, Brady Noble, Kiera Jo Harvey and Mason Ann Henderson; grandparents, Nancy "Nana" Hunter, Eva Huston, Evelyn "Gracie" Noble, Gaiel and Pam Noble; great-uncle, Mike (Linda) Hunter; aunts and uncles, Amy (Chris) Robinson, Heather Parks, Samantha Dixon, Scott (Tricia) Huston and Craig (Michelle) Huston; nieces and nephew, Audri Cleo Dennis, Mylie Rose Woodgeard and Kayden Christopher Lane Bennett; several cousins and numerous friends.He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Huston; and great-grandparents, Earl and Ruby Hunter.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Steve Ragland officiating. Burial will follow in Tarlton Cemetery with military honors. Sutton, and Annie Walker; one brother, Miles Walker; great-grandson, Tracy Hardaway, Jr. Survivors include her sons, Carlos (Letrice) Mosley, Sr., Michael (Amanda) Mosley, and Will J. Mosley; daughters, Aurora Mosley Jones, Arneta Mosley, and Cassandra Copeland; granddaughters, Tameka Martin, Shameria Martin, Shirley Martin, Caressa Martin, Chaquita Mosley; grandsons, Tracy Hardaway, Sr., Thomas (Keshia) Fugh, Terrence (Teoshia) Parker, Marchez Mosley, Lebron Copeland, and Carlos Mosley, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; nieces, Louisa Hill, JoAnn Rhodes, Savannah Hill, and Ruby; nephew, Johnny Johnson; cousins; other relatives and friends. She will lie in state on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 9 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Nathaniel Jackson as the eulogist. Burial will be on Monday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m. in Forest Hills Cemetery.
